- Exclusive news series on the status of ‘Rajya Krida Yojana’, a project implemented by Govt. of Maharashtra since 1998, in Sakaal was published in May 2007. Showing the incomplete construction work of regional, district and taluka sports complex and lacuna in Dept. of Sports. After the publication of the series, work on the sports complex of Dhule, Nandurbar was completed in 4 months. Government took action to fill up the vacant post throughout the state.
- Exclusive news series on Biomedical Waste Management program published in Sakaal. It was highlighted, how the Pollution Control Board has failed to handle the management of biomedical waste and how some maternity hospitals throws the dead bodies of infant after illegal abortion. LAQ during Nagpur winter session was raised by Mr. Vijayraj Shinde (MLA, Buldana), resulted in the CID inquiry.
- Exclusive stories on Educational backlog related to Genetic Sciences and other advanced courses in Sakaal. Published during Sep. to Dec. 2010. LAQ during the winter session at Nagpur, by two MLAs of west region of Maharashtra and MLA Mr. B. T. Deshmukh of Vidarbha, resulted in ‘Show Cause Notice’ to the Director, Higher Education and VCs of universities.
- Exclusive coverage (August 2011) on forest theft chain in Akola, Amravati, Buldana district of Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh i.e ‘Melghat Tiger Project’ related to wood cutting resulted in special inquiry and sealing of inter state forest borders.
Other Achievements
- Worked as ‘Special Key Person’, for the department of technical, medical, higher and vocational education in September 2011 for future projection in the educational sector by 2020.
- Worked as core committee member & PRO for ‘Akhil Bhartiya Grahak Panchyat’, established by Shri Bindumadhav Joshi for Akola, Buldana and Amravati districts of Maharashtra.
- Senior advisor and Director for Projects, Expansion and operations of Green Glory Foundation, a registered NGO of engineering students of Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University, having membership of around 660 engineering students. Projects mentioned below were held during the tenure.
- Project ‘JuSaPee’ - Hygienic recycling of old sarees as bags. Th at’s why the project was named as ‘JuSaPee’ i.e. ‘Junya Sadyanchya Pishvya’
- ‘Udhalu Rang Nisargache’- Eco-friendly color making by waste rice flour project on the occasion of holi 2012.
- Recycling Compact disc’s (CDs) and bottles as memento, flower pots, paper weights etc.
- Research paper on ‘ROLE OF COMMUNICATION FOR INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT’ published during the 5th Rashtriya Vigyan Sancharak Sammelan, at 99th Session of the Indian Science Congress organized during January 03 to 07, 2012 at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, in the presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
